Had a Great Picnic when Chuseok Holiday: Ttukseom Hangang Park
This year, Chuseok holiday was on September 30th until October 2nd. It was a three days holiday. Celebrated every autumn. Chuseok is Korean National holiday. It is a "thanksgiving" day. Many people gather with family to gratitude the harvest time. They eat together and remembering the ancentral grave and pluck the weeds that have grown around.
For me, the atmosphere is similar to Lebaran day for muslim in Indonesia. They gather with family, many people go to hometown visited their parents, eat special food like rendang, ketupat, opor, and some snacks.
On October 2nd we went to Ttukseom Hangang Park to had a picnic. You should prepare some stuff before going picnic, but don't worry if you want make it simple just rent it before entering the park.
As we did last time, we rent tent and get some ancillary equipments like: mat, portable table, standing battery lamp which can light up in the night, hand soap, toys.
There are several package options. The
basic set is ₩18.000
on weekday and ₩20.000 on weekends and you will get
stuff what i mentioned above.
